Full Strike Movie - Upcoming Asian Action Movies

The recent history of sports has witnessed a number of renowned career comebacks from now legendary athletes. There’s George Foreman who came out of a 17 year retirement to become the world’s oldest boxing heavyweight champion at age 45, Michael Jordan’s first return to the NBA after a short stint in minor league baseball, for a second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls, and the more recent return of Datuk Lee Zhong Wei at the Sudirman Cup. There is nothing more exhilarating than watching your heroes’ return to action. Upcoming movie Full Strike is a Hong Kong sports comedy drama by director Derek Kwok which centres on the story of Ng Gou-sau (Josie Ho), a former elite badminton player who threw away her career due to her volcanic temper. After her encounter with a trio of former armed robbers (Ekin Cheng, Edmond Leung, and Wilfred Lau) who practises badminton during their time in prison, her passion for the sport was reignited, inspiring her to  pick up the racquet once again. Packed with slapstick and far-fetched twists, Full Strike channels the kind of Steven Chow-esque mo lei tau humour we never get tired of. Catch Josie Ho as the ace badminton player who takes on the courts along with her motley crew of players in Full Strike. Now showing in cinemas!

Murmur of the hearts - Upcoming Asian Action Movies

Set between Taipei, Taitung, and the lush Green Island, Murmur of the Hearts portrays three psychologically scarred characters in their mid-30’s trying to come to terms with their traumatic childhood. Helming the cast is Hong Kong actress Isabella Leong who plays a willowy painter caught in a rocky relationship with a boxer (Joseph Chang).
