After starring in one of the year’s biggest release Furious 7, Vin Diesel is set to return in the fantasy action The Last Witch Hunter, opening in cinemas this 22 Oct!

While Vin Diesel has starred in a plethora of action films including a number of sci-fi films, the fantasy genre is one he has yet to delve into. Being an avid Dungeons & Dragons fan, he has been waiting for the chance to live his creative fantasies so when the idea for The Last Witch Hunter came about he jumped at the chance of taking up the role.

As the titular character of the movie, Vin Diesel is on a journey to save the world by annihilating evil witches and warlocks! Starring as a grieving father cursed stripped of his beloved wife and daughter, Vin Diesel is Kaulder, a warrior who slays the all-powerful Witch Queen (Jule Engelbrecht). Before her downfall, she cursed the gallant warrior with a life of immortality. Fast forward 800 years, Kaulder is now an authorized Witch Hunter working for a shadowy organization known as the Axe and Cross. An evil warlock resurrects the Witch Queen to unleash a new deathly plague upon the world. The stage is set for a second apocalyptic showdown between the Witch Hunter and his arch-nemesis!
