Upcoming Movie INSURGENT: The Cinematic Dystopia You Can’t Afford To Miss

In recent years, it seems as if our cinemas are filled with more and more movies about post-apocalyptic continuity societies, revolutionary wars, and death duels. Are these the subjects of popular culture nowadays? To put it simply, YES! Increasingly, young adult dystopian literature that perpetually unravels in some post-nuclear, politically unorthodox future rendition of American cities are being adapted into Hollywood blockbusters and dominating box offices; a trend that appears to have been set off by the success of the popular dystopian young adult series “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins.

After her parents were killed in the attack of the Erudites, Tris is now forced to rise up and break the constraints of her society’s monochromatic structure. A structure that is divided into different factions whereby everyone is personality tested and forced to pick one in accordance to their virtues. The five factions are made up of Abnegation for the selfless, Dauntless for the brave, Amity for the peaceful, Candor for the honest and Erudite who value knowledge and logic above all else. During the Erudites’ attack on Abnegation while utilizing the mind-controlled Dauntless army, Tris who is a Divergent (one who cannot be confined to just one faction), managed to break Tobias from the mind-control simulation. Together, the power couple are now on a search to recruit and prepare for a return fire while eluding the Erudites who have now taken over the world within the fence. The upcoming movie from The Divergent Series: INSURGENT is a thrilling sequel you cannot miss. Coming to cinemas this 19^th of March.
