The Age of Adaline sees the return to the big screen for former Gossip Girl-turned-Mrs. Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively. From best teen drama to best romantic movie, Blake has transitioned well from her TV role to the silver screen. Her last movie in 2012 was a crime thriller with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. In her latest movie, she leads the plot as Adaline Bowman, a woman who has miraculously managed to stay youthful at 29 years old for over 80 years as a result of a freak accident.

Due to her ‘secret’, she has distanced herself from society to prevent from being discovered until one day she meets charismatic Ellis Jones, portrayed by Michiel Huisman (you will probably know him from Game of Thrones) and finds herself falling for him. With her passion for love and life reignited, Adaline must make decisions that could see her giving up her immortality. Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, this Hollywood blockbuster also stars Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn and Amanda Crew.
