Kuala Lumpur, 24 May 2010 - Hot from the oven Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor Simon Yam was in town to meet photography enthusiasts and movie fans at GSC Pavilion KL. The event was organized by Canon Camera Malaysia, which Simon Yam is brand ambassador for the past 16 years.
Canon Camera Malaysia specially flew Simon Yam to Malaysia to conduct a series of promotional works for its EOS range of cameras. In conjunction with the visit, Canon also arranged a special screening of Echoes of the Rainbow, the movie which won Simon Yam the Best Actor award.
Most of the fans and photography enthusiasts who attended the screening came geared up with their Canon EOS cameras to capture shots of the star. Simon Yam who appeared before loads of camera flashlights thanked fans for their support and encouraged them to continue being passionate in what they do, be it photography or other ventures in life.
