The Rooms tells of three nerve wrecking supernatural tales that revolves around the hauntings of three rooms within an abode, each harnessing a pallid story of terror. The first story tells that of a man, whose wife is bedridden and paralyzed due to an accident. During courtship, he has promised her undying devotion but now due to her immobility, he finds himself struggling with his sexual needs. Finally giving in to his sexual temptations, he makes way to a nearby brothel and cheats on his wife with a prostitute. The moment this happens, the vengeful retribution of his wife rains down on him like terror. In the second story, a broken hearted girl travels to Bangkok and was assigned the hotel’s Honeymoon Suite only to find something unholy waiting for her. A Mafia and his follower had to stay in the last room of a hotel in the third story. Knowingly, the follower anticipates the horror that is about to dawn upon them.

A Nod to the Chinese Vampire Classics: Sifu vs. Vampire

If you’re a fan of the old Mr. Vampire movies, then Sifu vs. Vampire is going to be the movie that will hit all the right spots for you. This nod to the classics combines all the classic elements of the decrepit genre including hopping vampires that are stiffened by death, Taoist priests that cast spells, beautiful lady ghosts, and even two bumbling characters who wreak trouble. Old timer Kung Fu legend Yuen Biao plays the role of the Taoist priest this time, which takes us back to the Lam Ching Ying moments in Mr. Vampire. Sifu vs. Vampire revolves around the roles Ronald Cheng and Philip Ng who plays tragic small time gangsters assigned to threaten the Taoist priest played by Yuen Biao to exhume the corpse of a TV station tycoon AK (Kelviin Kwan)’s great grandfather.A new burial is said to bring AK great fortune and prosperity but things take a turn for the worse when his great grandfather’s corpse turns into a Vampire King and is let loose inside the TV station while a show about zombies is being filmed.
