For all of you avid fans of Wong Jing’s works, you are in for a treat this Chinese New Year! From Vegas to Macau opens in cinemas this 19th of January.
Recently conferred the title of Datuk, our favourite action superstar Jackie Chan is kick-starting the Chinese New Year with a bang with his latest movie Dragon Blade, a historical epic revolving around a fictional battle between the Roman Empire and China during the Han dynasty. Starring alongside the old-timer martial artist will be Hollywood superstars Adrien Brody and John Cusack. The movie will also feature Choi Siwon, member of the Korean supergroup Super Junior. Boasting a hefty $65 million in production costs, Dragon Blade is one of the most expensive Chinese movies to date. Don’t miss out on some hard-hitting Jackie Chan action this Chinese New Year. Dragon Blades is opening in cinemas this 19th of January.

If you’re a lover of Stephen Chow’s brand of “mo lei tau” comedies, then this upcoming movie is just the perfect movie to tickle your funny bone. Fronted by veteran comedian Eric Tsang, Lucky Star 2015 will feature an ensemble cast from Hong Kong, Taiwan and greater China including Wong Cho-lam, Ella Chen from the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E., Stephen Chow lookalike Wen Chao, Dada Chan, King Tan Yuen, Yuen Qiu, and more! This upcoming Chinese movie parodies a multitude of comedy classics including familiar scenes from the infamous works of Stephen Chow and Chow Yun-Fat. Be prepared to laugh yourself into stitches this Chinese New Year with the casts of Lucky Star 2015 which will be opening this 19th of February.
Chinese New Year is a time for family members, both young and old to gather together and what better way to spend time together than to catch a heart-warming movie about family values. ATM is a movie that explores the issues of generation gap between the young and old through a caper story about an ATM heist gone wrong. The movie will feature homegrown actress Joanne Yew, Kelvin Kwan, C Guan and also appearances from many recognizable veteran actors including Nina Paw, Lo Hoi Pang, and Stanley Fung. ATM will be opening in cinemas this 26th of February.

King of Mahjong centres on a feud between two disciples, Mark Lee and Chapman To, who battles it out on the mahjong table for the ultimate title. Catch it in cinemas this 26th of February.
This popular TVB hit series needs no introduction and fans have seemingly been eagerly awaiting the release of the movie version since the beginning of time. Triumph in the Skies will undoubtedly feature an ensemble cast of beautiful characters including the already infamous Captain Cool (Chilam Cheung) and Sam (Francis Ng) this time with the addition of Louis Koo, Sammi Cheng, Carmaine Sheh, and Amber Kuo. This Chinese movie about aviation and romance is packed with heart throbbing scenes centred on the relationships among the six main casts.
