The great herbalist Mo Tianquan (starring Richard NG) has a daughter Xin who has been suffering from incurable disease since little and could not get through her twentieth year. To save her life, Mo spent his life working on the magic Elixir. Unfortunately, there was one missing ingredient of The Life-sustaining Flower. Mo had to take the long shot to save his daughter’s life. Now Xin survived, while her body failed to create blood and thus turned her into a monster which needed to drink human blood regularly.
20 years later, one of Mo’s follower Herbalist Li (starring CHIN Siu Ho) returns and finds out Mo hided the truth for allowing Xin to live her “normal life”. He even pretended to be the monster. Looking at his former love Xin became a monster every full moon night, he feels hopeless. The Elixir keeps Xin alive and young forever, but it also makes her suffered as a zombie.
If the herbalist could find the last ingredient for the magic Elixir? If magic Elixir really exists just as there is no immortality?
